2008-12-17 [Alexi Ice]: Pick away! I don't think my Vamp obsession is very personal but before you get the wrong idea I am SO not a weird Twilight fangirl. I loved vampires LONG before that whole epidemic struck the world and now real Vampire fans just seem like stupid fanatics of a ficitional book full of ficitonal characters. Ugh. That really grates on my nerves. lol.
2008-12-17 [Artsieladie]: Well, no worries there, my dear, because I don't know 'anything' about Twilight Fangirl. My knowledge surrounding vampires stems from older and original stuff. -sigh- I'm just a boring person when it comes to all of this focus on movies and computer games, their characters and so forth. I guess this is why I prefer artists creating 'original' art as opposed to creating art from others' creativity. This is just one of the reasons that I don't really fit in around here and why my art is so frowned upon around here by many, but not all, because my creations are more from an original standpoint, either from my own imagination or from inspiration or both. You won't see WOW in my art nor FF, for 2 examples. I'm also a realistic artist that much prefers animals and nature to humans, because far too many humans have trampled all over my kind and generous spirit, at times making me into a person I don't even like.
I love extremely deeply and this is why it very dangerous for me to ever fall in love with anyone, because it has been my experience (not saying all males are this way) that the males that have entered my life just want to play mind and head games and take GREAT pleasure in hurting me. The harder and deeper they can thrust that knife through my heart and twist it, the happier they seem to be!
Sorry! I guess you can likely tell that I'm agitated. There's one man that I'd like to personally deliver to the middle of the ocean right now and drop him off as sharkbait! But... that's 'this' moment. Give me a few additional moments and I'll want to do the very opposite, whatevah that may be. Why do men always have to be such immature, cowardly 'little boys' that seem to get quite mixed up as to just which head they should be using to think with!?! Sorry, again, but it's true. That big, round/oval thing that sits atop their shoulders only seems to be there for some sort of decoration! For Christmas, maybe they should just hang a wreath on it or something. Grrrrrrrrrrr I'm shutting up now. :P *zips*
2008-12-18 [Alexi Ice]: Woot! Now I can be a brain picker, I just leared alot about you Artsie and you have learned little more than one of my darker obsessions!
2008-12-18 [Alexi Ice]: Men are stupid and for the most part immature but eventually everyone finds one that clicks...or they turn to the same sex, whatever works best. Just keep thinking positive and I am sure one day you will find someone who clicks, who loves you and doesn't hurt you. Someone who is good for you.
2008-12-18 [Artsieladie]: hehe Bbbut... I don't think there's much in there to pick! Slim pickin's you might say? <..< O..O :P
It's not that this one is stupid, far from it, but it is a man-creature! lol Hmm... maybe this type of creature should be included in the Elftown Creature Marathon!? It's not that I dislike men, really, because if they weren't man creatures, well then we wouldn't be attracted. It's kinda' like the very same thing that attracts us, is also the very same thing that can irritate us, 'oxymoronish' it seems. Some of my best friends are men in real life. It's just that when one aggravates me, I want to ship 'em all to the moon! They aggravate me, because they are supposed to be 'men', not creatures that hide in the shadows somewhere peeking out from their little shadowy corner. Very few men have the capacity to even get my attention, so when one does and then acts like a freaking mouse, it's just so damn frustrating. They want to play head games, like reel you in, once he has you in, shit on you, I get pissed off, tell him to get lost, ignore him and then... the game starts all over again, reel me in, yada-yada-yada
I don't believe in controlling another person, especially someone I deeply care about. I always say a back door should always remain open. This way they are never trapped and at any time they are free to be on their merry way, because I would never want a man to stay in my life out of some sense of obligation and most definitely not by emotional blackmail. He is either in my life because he wants to be or he is not. So many women think they have to hold onto their men, put that collar and leash around their neck and some have to keep that leash good and short. Why? I see no reason to.
Maybe it's because I detest limitations and restrictions. ...And because I do, why would I want to place these very same on someone I claim to love? There's an old saying, set someone free. If they return to you, then it was meant to be. If they do not, it never was. I also swear that I am part horse, that wild and free spirit part. It's one of the things I look for in a man, actually, because with such, he is not afraid to push the limits or he's not afraid to step outside the box. A man that will step outside the box is interesting, usually challenging, and I do like a good challenge, no matter how irritated I may get, as long as I know WITHOUT DOUBT that he loves me, I can handle most anything. But if I have doubts as to his true feelings or intentions, then I'll start putting limitations on just how far I will go for him and when I have to place limits on my feelings, my passion and whatever else, I become a very unhappy person. :P hehe Babble! Babble!
2009-01-12 [Nomak]: "2008-12-18 [Alexi Ice]: Men are stupid and for the most part immature..." Genious comment.
2009-01-12 [Alexi Ice]: Thank you [Nomak] though I am fairly sure your own comment is sarcastic...lo
And Artsie - I don't mind the bable if it helps you to feel better ^^ Talking about problems usually help.
2009-01-12 [Artsieladie]: Well, I may babble-babble, but all I am doing is talking and you can't get to know other people if you don't talk to them. Conversation is communication. Communication is a prelude to forming any type of relationship, whether friendship or more intimate. How can one make friends, if one doesn't talk? How can you get to know someone, if you don't talk to them? When I try to talk to someone and they just clam up, then they can't fault me for coming to the wrong conclusion in regards to them, especially when I've done all I know to do to open the door of communication. You can lead a horse to the water, but you can't make it drink. I'm not a judgemental type of person, so it's not like they have to think 10 times before they speak with me, either. Besides, I do my own fair share of stupid stuff and I would hope they would be as understanding with me, as I would be with them. :P
2009-01-12 [Alexi Ice]: Very true! ^^ I love chatting.
2009-01-13 [Artsieladie]: Yeah, I do. Speaking of chatting, I hear your howling on the IM, but then, poof, you're gone again. ;)
2009-01-14 [Alexi Ice]: Oh yeah, I only check it for a sec to talk to my councler ^^ I'm on Meebo all the time though, you should add me...my username is
Mitsuki_the_wo
What a shocker , right?
2009-01-14 [Artsieladie]: Meebo? What's Meebo? :P
Yesh! A shocker, indeed! lol ;)
2009-01-14 [Alexi Ice]: It;s a chat site, you can add me from meebo on your AOL account, I get on there because my BF has yahoo and we can chat that way ^^
2009-01-14 [Artsieladie]: I'll try it. :) I also have Yahoo and Google Talk. :)
[Update:] I tried it with AOL and it says "Mitsuki_the_w
2009-01-15 [Alexi Ice]: That sucks, I shall try to add you then, it might be easier.
2009-01-15 [Nomak]: Mitsuki, the truth is 95% of animal protecction officers and animal handlers for the city are male.
2009-01-15 [Alexi Ice]: ^^ Don't worry about it, I wasn't being serious with all males but...the particular male Artsie and I are speaking of is kind of like that. Dont worry about it.
2009-01-15 [Nomak]: Well in most part this wiki caught my eye becuase I'm a volunteer recuiter for my city.
2009-01-15 [Artsieladie]: Oh, the male creature we are discussing is a unique and rare creature indeed! One could never find one quite like him, if they looked to the ends of the earth and back! *giggles as I'm trying to decide if this a good thing or not* *thinks some more* Hmm... still need more time on this one, because the jury is still out. lol I'm ebil, I tell ya! Ebil!
I'm so bloody tired! I can't get much sleep, because it's so cold here and I'm afraid if I sleep too long, my water pipes will freeze. It's supposed to go down to around -10 to -12 F or -24 to -25 C tonight. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr
Interesting, [Nomak]. I've been involved with pet rescue for many years. :)
2009-01-15 [Alexi Ice]: Really??? Oh cool! I would LOVE to volentere but my shelter is a kill shelter and I don't condone that type of thing. It makes me so sad.
*Hands Artsie a warm blanket* There you go, that might help ^^
2009-01-16 [Artsieladie]: We have shelters that euthanize, too. This makes rescue groups even more important, because many rescue groups try to save the pets, especially on 'death row' (their time is up). This is one of the reasons why I advocate spaying and neutering. People need to realise that when they allow more to be continually brought into the world, many of these being brought in and many more that are already here without 'good' homes, are doomed as a result. There just aren't enough 'good' homes for all of the millions of pets in need. MILLIONS of innocent pets get destroyed across the US every single day! What people do not know, too, is that a pet that is spayed or neutered has a better chance at living longer, because they are less prone to diseases such as cancer. For example, cancer is more prevalent or likely in an unspayed female's reproductive organs and related organs, than in a female that has been spayed. :/
